“There is a specific kind of magic in a Charleston sunrise elopement<\/strong>, especially when you have the Waterfront Park all to yourself. This downtown Charleston elopement at the iconic Pineapple Fountain was a masterclass in what truly matters. As a photographer based in Moncks Corner, I\u2019m often asked for the best ‘hidden gems’ in the city, but sometimes the most famous landmarks are famous for a reason\u2014the light reflecting off the Cooper River creates a glow that you just can’t replicate anywhere else.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Pro Tip:<\/strong> Eloping early in the morning in Downtown Charleston, SC allows for many advantages. You can use a public space in a more private experience. You and your guest will have much less traffic to contend with, no parking issues and you can have a wonderful brunch post wedding all before the world is wide awake and bustling.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Earl and Ramona decided to get married at the Pineapple Fountain in Charleston, SC surrounded by their closest family and friends. A couple from my hometown of Moncks Corner, SC who have known each other since high school! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning sunlight hitting through the trees on the brick laid walkway made for just enough shade but just enough light to snap a perfect “first look” moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surrounded by their closest family and friends they tied the knot in front of the world famous Pineapple Fountain in Charleston, SC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards we did a quick family and friends photo session to document and celebrate their love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After saying goodbye to their family and friends we took a quick walk around the corner to a beautiful alley way. Of course the amount of “Congratulations!” & “Way to go!” applause they received from the crowd was heartwarming and nerve racking for this photographer who tends to try to hide in the shadows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly we ended the day with bridal portraits in the Philadelphia Alley, a true iconic “hidden” spot only locals know about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
