Coming Home: The Eanes Wedding at 108 W Main

It’s not every day that a bride gets to walk down the aisle in her own grandmother’s backyard. Long before 108 W Main was the stunning venue it is today, it was the private residence of the Spann family. When the 108 W Main Moncks Corner Wedding of the Eanes took place here, it was a beautiful continuation of a story that started over 60 years ago.

A legacy in the making. Sharing a quiet moment with her grandmother in the house they both called home.

The upstairs rooms of 108 W Main still hold the quiet dignity of a family home. Watching the bride read her vows in a room that once belonged to her family added a layer of weight to every word. We used the house’s historic window light to create portraits that felt less like a ‘photoshoot’ and more like a quiet moment of reflection before the ceremony began.

Moving to the backyard, the atmosphere shifted from reflection to celebration. There’s something grounding about an outdoor ceremony on family land. Under the afternoon sun, surrounded by the gardens of her grandmother’s former home, they made promises that weren’t just for today, but for the generations to follow.

As they walked away as husband and wife, crossing the wooden bridge toward their reception, it felt like the perfect closing chapter for this homecoming. The Eanes wedding wasn’t just a celebration of a new marriage; it was an honor to the history of the house at 108 W Main. We are so grateful to have been the ones to document this full-circle moment in Moncks Corner.
