Why The Glass Factory in Jacksonville is on my 2026 Documentary Wishlist
There’s something about industrial history that just calls for film. As a documentary photographer based in Moncks Corner, I spend a lot of time looking for venues that have ‘soul’—places where the walls tell as much of the story as the couple.
I’ve been studying The Glass Factory in Jacksonville, and it’s a masterclass in texture. Between the exposed brick, the massive industrial windows, and that raw, open-floor plan, it is the perfect canvas for my ‘Artist Cut’ style. I can already see how the heavy grain and deep shadows of my edits would play off the natural light in that space.
I’m officially looking to document my first wedding at The Glass Factory in 2026. Because I’m so stoked to get this venue in my portfolio, I’m offering a bespoke travel package (including no travel fees) for the first couple who books me for a 2026 date at this location.
If you’re planning a day that’s more about the ‘feeling’ than the poses, let’s talk.
