Fueled by coffee & protein shakes (sometimes I even mix the two), a vast love of music from 80's & 90's rap (thank you Mom) to obscure punk, alternative (thank you Dad), emo and metal bands and everything in between. When I dive head first into a project I don't stop or quit until I'm satisfied. Just ask my wife. It’s one of my more annoying traits.
I believe that every story is unique and should be documented as such. I strive to capture the genuine raw emotions that unfold on your wedding day, family shoot or special event. As your photographer, I focus on creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience, I crack terrible dad jokes, will say anything to make you smile or shake your head while you laugh at me which of course allows you to be yourselves in front of the camera. I blend documentary-style candid shots with carefully composed portraits to deliver a comprehensive visual narrative that reflects the essence of your love.
Life Beyond Photography: In my off time, you'll find me raising my beautiful family, coaching little league soccer, screaming at the TV when professional soccer matches are on, taking pictures of bands on stage and enjoying a round of golf with my son. These experiences enrich my understanding of the importance of family and connection, which I bring into my work as a photographer.

Kaline brings years of experience behind the lens with a keen eye for macro details as well as the ability to pull together a shoot with little no time or information and still pull magic out of her bag of tricks. We believe this super power comes from her being a mother of 4 children with an innate ability to go and go without rest.

Josh brings over 14 years of experience to the team at Hold Fast Stills. Educated at the Art Institute of Charleston where he was a Photography major. His work has been featured in several NY state magazines including Adirondack Trailmix Magazine, Capital Region Living Magazine as well as the Saratoga Raceway. Josh has a true passion for equipment insuring our team stays top notch with the care and maintenance to insure we are able to capture your most important moments without failure and we all stay current with new technology as it hits the market.

Hold Fast Still’s lead assistant, you will find James on set of our family and large event shoots managing and posing the models, getting B roll footage and photos as well as setting up lighting, carrying gear and even telling his father if something sounds like a bad idea. A fan of books by author Dav Pilkey. Music by Hot Water Music & most anything Super Mario Brothers. In his off time when he doesn’t have a camera in his hand you can find him on the pitch as his team’s goalie, reading books or swinging golf clubs.
